Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and execute Wi-Fi test strategies for performance, stability, and scalability
• Test WLAN technologies across standards: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
• Validate Wi-Fi security features including WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X
• Perform mesh, extender, roaming, and steering validation (802.11k/v)
• Build and manage Wi-Fi test beds for functional and stress testing
• Conduct throughput, latency, and performance benchmarking
• Analyze packets using Wi-Fi sniffers and protocol analyzers
• Identify issues, debug failures, and collaborate with development teams for fixes
• Document test results, defects, and performance insights clearly

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with WLAN protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be)
• Deep understanding of Wi-Fi security mechanisms (WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X)
• Experience with mesh networks, extenders, and steering technologies
• Expertise in Wi-Fi performance, throughput, and stress testing
• Hands-on packet capture and analysis using sniffers
• Good Linux knowledge with basic scripting or coding skills
• Experience using test tools like Ixia, spectrum analyzers, and attenuators

Good to Have

• Experience testing enterprise or ISP-grade Wi-Fi solutions
• Exposure to real-world deployment scenarios
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
