Job Title: Automation Tester

Summary: 

As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes and improve overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development:
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cucumber).
  • Investment Banking experience
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Implement and enhance automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

• Test Planning and Strategy:
• • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.

• Execution and Reporting:
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and issues.
  • Generate and maintain test reports, documenting test results and defects in tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) is a plus.
