We’re looking for a zOS QA and Testing specialist/Infrastructure Engineer to:
• ensure a quality gateway for Mainframe Infrastructure requirements
• ensure completeness, testability, resource consumption and several other qualities based on the Production readiness criteria's (PRC) in the non- restricted environments
• determine performance and capacity trends in the Online & Batch area for non- restricted environments
• define measures in resource consumption and runtime behavior in the non- restricted environments
• execute Performance management during test phases in non- restricted environments
• define the way our reporting infrastructure operates
• collect, maintain and administrate our capacity and performance data
• create capacity forecasts, resource usage charts and trend reports
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Mainframe as a Service team in Hyderabad and you will interact with the Engineering, Application Testing, Operations and Developer teams. The team will ensure a good performance, availability of the systems and support Application releases in the Test Environments (through SDLC Process).

Your expertise

Your expertise
You have:
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position in zOS Mainframe
• strong knowledge in JCL, SQL, DB2, CICS, MQ, QA Testing
• know how in REXX
• hand on experience in Batch QA Testing, Online Testing in non-functional area
• having a good grasp with an analytical mindset and integrated thinking
• comfortable working with data across a range of sources, shapes and sizes
• SDLC know-how
• a university degree computer science, management information systems or professional certifications
• a background in the financial industry, or similar enterprise
• knowledge in the Microsoft Office palette (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills, motivated, self-driven, and fluent in English and eager to work in a Global Team
