About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in the Credit Card domain to lead end-to-end testing activities, ensure delivery quality, and collaborate closely with business, development, and operations teams. The ideal candidate should have deep functional knowledge of credit card processes and hands-on experience in complex banking/financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall testing lifecycle (SIT, UAT, Regression, E2E).
• Prepare test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test data.
• Review test cases and ensure 100% coverage of business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners for requirement clarification.
• Conduct defect triage meetings and track defect closure.
• Ensure timely delivery of test cycles with high quality.
• Mentor and guide junior testers in the team.
• Provide status reports to stakeholders and drive process improvements.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong experience in Credit Card domain including:
• Card Issuing & Acquiring
• Card Lifecycle Management (activation, blocking, reissue, upgrades)
• Billing & Statement Generation
• Interest, Fees, and Charge calculations
• Disputes & Chargebacks
• Rewards/Loyalty
• Card Transactions (POS, ATM, E-commerce)
• Authorization, Clearing & Settlement
• Hands-on experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, E2E testing .
• Knowledge of API Testing , backend validation, and batch job verification.
• Experience in mainframe or UNIX-based systems (added advantage).
• Strong understanding of banking workflows and compliance (KYC, AML, fraud rules).

Good to Have

• Experience with card platforms (VisionPLUS, Prime, TSYS, FIS, etc.).
• Understanding of ISO 8583, EMV standards, Switching systems.
• Basic SQL for data validation.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery.
