Job Description
Functional Test Engineer Embedded & IoT Systems
We are looking for a confident and communicative Functional Test Engineer with strong experience in embedded and IoT device testing. This is a highly collaborative, onsite role requiring close interaction with firmware and system engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform functional testing of embedded/firmware-based systems
Test IoT devices (mandatory)
Conduct embedded systems testing at hardwaresoftware integration level
Perform microphone testing and audio input validation
Execute noise testing and noise cancellation techniques testing
Conduct notice/notification improvisation techniques testing
Present test findings, issues, and validation results to stakeholders
Work closely with firmware and system engineers on a daily basis
Must-Have Skills
Strong experience in embedded systems functional testing
Hands-on IoT device testing experience (compulsory)
Understanding of audio systems, microphone validation, and noise control technologies
Confident communicator with ability to clearly explain testing outcomes
Work Model
100% Onsite Hyderabad
No remote or hybrid option
Preferred Background
Experience with companies like Cyient / Cyreston
Firmware engineering organizations
IoT product companies
Automotive or Telecom embedded firms (secondary preference)
