Test Engineer

We are looking for an Experienced Node.js Engineer who has strong hands-on development skills along with automation scripting capabilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to both backend development and test automation, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js with clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Design, write, and execute automation scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Maintain documentation for development and automation workflows.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and backend service development.
• Proficiency in automation scripting - Playwright (e.g., Node-based automation, Cypress, or custom frameworks).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Good debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and adapt quickly to evolving requirements.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Banking domain knowledge; experience with Wealth Management products is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), Git, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, Chai, or API testing tools.
• Strong teamwork, ownership, and a learning mindset.
