Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester with strong functional knowledge of Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS) . The candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing within the banking or NBFC domain , with a clear understanding of loan lifecycle processes from origination to closure.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze business requirements related to LOS and LMS modules.
• Perform manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing for LOS and LMS applications.
• Validate end-to-end loan lifecycle workflows , including:
• Lead creation & customer onboarding
• Credit appraisal & underwriting
• Loan approval & disbursement
• EMI generation & repayment schedules
• Interest calculation, penalties, and charges
• Foreclosure, part-prepayment, and loan closure
• Test LMS modules related to repayments, rescheduling, overdue handling, NPA tagging, and collections .
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on functional specifications.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools (JIRA / ALM or similar).
• Validate data accuracy across LOS, LMS, and integrated systems (Core Banking, Payment Gateways, Credit Bureau).
• Participate in UAT support and coordinate with business users for issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with banking rules, regulatory norms, and audit requirements .
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Prepare test execution reports and provide daily/weekly testing status updates.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of manual testing experience in the banking or financial services domain.
• Strong hands-on experience in LOS and LMS functional testing .
• Good understanding of loan products (Home Loan, Personal Loan, LAP, Auto Loan, Business Loan).
• Knowledge of EMI calculations, interest types, moratorium, and repayment schedules .
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect management .
• Familiarity with SQL for basic data validation (added advantage).
• Experience working in Agile / Waterfall methodologies.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with business and technical teams.

Good to Have

• Experience in Collections module testing .
• Exposure to Core Banking integrations (Finacle / T24 or similar).
• Banking or NBFC project experience.
