Infosys is hiring core Automotive R&D professionals as part of a dedicated Offshore Delivery Center being setup for Sweden’s marquee EV brand ‘Polestar’ at our Electronics City, Bangalore Campus. If such an opportunity excites you, apply for the job opening below - • Design and develop automated test scripts using Python for Android applications, focusing on functional and integration testing. • Utilize the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and other relevant tools to interact with the application running on Android emulators and physical hardware devices. • Create and maintain a comprehensive test suite covering various functionalities and user journeys. • Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing during the development lifecycle. • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and report them effectively to the development team. • Stay up to date with the latest testing frameworks and tools for Android development, specifically those relevant to Android Automotive. • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand application features and create effective test cases. Technical Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with a focus on mobile applications. • Proven experience in writing automated test scripts using Python and a testing framework at least in one of Pytest, Espresso, UI Automator or Appium. • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. • Familiarity with Android development environment and tools like adb. • Experience with Android emulators and physical devices for testing is a plus. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub, GitHub Action) is a plus. • Being familiar with VHAL properties, and Android automotive topics is merit. • Knowledge of communication protocols CAN, FlexRay, SOME/IP, Ethernet is a plus.
