JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Automation Test Engineer

Experience: 5 -8 Years

Education: BE/ME - CSE/EEE/ECE or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform end-to-end OTA testing on both test benches and vehicles (download, installation, rollback, update verification)

2. Validate OTA cloud UI functionality

3. Test OTA backend API services using tools like Postman and JMeter

4. Conduct PKI testing for certificate management and authentication

5. Automate OTA Cloud UI workflow using Selenium/Python

6. Validate Telematics Control Unit (TCU) software updates, connectivity and cloud communication, Geofencing and Location services

7. Develop and maintain test scripts

8. Analyse logs, Collaborate with development teams to identify root cause of issues and improve overall quality.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience in OTA software update testing (bench & vehicle).

Strong knowledge of cloud-based OTA solutions (download, campaign, rollback, delta update).

Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, JMeter).

Strong automation skills in UI automation (Selenium) and scripting (Python/Java).

Familiarity with PKI concepts (certificates, encryption, authentication).

Understanding of vehicle communication protocols and TCU protocols(CAN, UDS, DoIP, MQTT, REST).

Experience in debugging OTA-related issues across cloud + embedded ECUs.

Good to Have:

1. Jenkins and CI/CD Pipeline knowledge

2. Prior work in telematics or connected vehicle projects.
