Test Automation Engineer with Maestro UI

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and implement automated testing frameworks for our web and mobile applications as well as backend APIs. This role covers mobile app automation (Flutter + Maestro), web front-end testing, and API automation (Python on AWS). You will establish robust CI/CD-integrated testing, drive regression coverage, and enable internal teams to own and extend automation long-term.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Mobile App & UX Automation

• Proven hands-on experience with Maestro for mobile UI test automation, including writing and maintaining YAML-based test flows.
• Strong experience testing Flutter applications on both Android and iOS, with an understanding of Flutter-specific UI rendering and widget testing considerations.
• Proficiency in web test automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience testing responsive web applications across browsers and devices.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) to effectively build and troubleshoot web test suites.
• Proficiency in Python for building scalable API automation and regression frameworks.
• Solid working knowledge of AWS services including ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Experience automating authentication flows, account and device validation, and negative-case/edge-case API testing.
• Demonstrated experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Experience configuring PR-level smoke tests, nightly regression runs, and scheduled validation jobs.
• Familiarity with GitHub/Bitbucket, Jira, and related development and project management workflows.
