Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve implementing quality processes, utilizing automation tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Develop and execute automated test scripts using Mainframe DevOps tools. - Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand software requirements and design test cases. - Identify and document software defects and track them to resolution. - Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and provide recommendations for improvement. - Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization activities. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to quality engineering. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe DevOps. - Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium and JUnit. - Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python. - Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Mainframe DevOps. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
