Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve implementing quality processes, utilizing automation tools, and collaborating with the team to ensure accurate and efficient testing. Roles & Responsibilities: - Understands the requirement specifications and creates Pega test cases at the integration and system levels, and performs functional, non-functional, exploratory, and regression testing. Automating all possible test cases is also within their scope. - Strong PEGA systems testing experience and working knowledge on Pega. - Performs and Validates the quality of testing requirements, such as, Testability, Test design,Test scripting,Test automation -Creates and monitors test plans and ensures that test documentation is complete. -Oversees the following processes: Test environment management, Test management, Customer/stakeholder communication, Tracking progress and status reporting - Utilize quality processes to ensure accurate and efficient testing. - Implement automation tools and methodologies to improve testing efficiency. - Collaborate with the team to develop innovative testing approaches. - Stay updated with the latest testing trends and technologies. - Provide guidance and support to junior professionals in the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pega Platform Testing and Certification. - Experience with test automation frameworks and tools. - Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. - Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. - Experience in creating and executing test cases. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Pega testing. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery. - Experience with performance testing tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Pega Platform. - This position is based in Kolkata. - A 15 years full-time education and Pega testing knowledge preferred CSA and CSSA certificate is required.
