Project Role Description : Transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies. Your typical day will involve developing and implementing automated testing solutions using Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop and implement automated testing solutions using Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language. - Maintain, update, and enhance the existing UFT automation framework to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Implement best practices for automated testing, including data-driven testing, modular scripting, and keyword-driven testing, to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, ensuring that testing is integrated into the development process. - Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. - Identify, analyze, and document defects, errors, and inconsistencies in software functionality, output, and content, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Minimum 7+ of handson experience on Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Webdriver IO, Selenium with java/Javascript. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language. Code automated tests for the Feature, System and Integrated Systems Testing Phases. - Experience in all aspects of testing including Functional, Integration (SIT), End to End, Regression and UAT Testing using a variety of manual and automated techniques . Experience in SQL - Previous experience with Web services/API and middleware integration platforms - Working experience in CI/CD, Source code management. - Interpreting business requirements Investigating Issues. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with test automation frameworks and tools. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Solid grasp of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT). - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. - This position is based at our Gurugram office.
