Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve implementing quality processes, utilizing automation tools, and developing innovative testing strategies. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Develop and implement automated testing strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements. - Design and execute test cases and scripts. - Identify and report software defects and issues. - Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy. - Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or JUnit. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python. - Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery processes. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A BE degree is required.
