Test Analyst - Salesforce

Project Description:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Senior Test Analyst with strong hands-on expertise across Salesforce Lightning and deep exposure to testing within the Australian banking domain. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in functional testing, SIT, regression cycles, and end-to-end validation of Salesforce business processes and data flows. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute functional, SIT, and regression test cases for Salesforce Lightning.
• Analyse user stories and create clear, traceable test scenarios and test data.
• Validate endtoend business processes, integrations, and data flows.
• Log, track, and manage defects in Jira and maintain test assets in qTest.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure quality delivery in Agile sprints.
• Provide test estimates, report progress, and support release readiness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality practices.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 6+ years of experience as a Test Analyst, with a strong focus on Salesforce platforms.
• Proven experience delivering testing outcomes on Salesforce Lightning projects, ideally within the Australian banking sector.
• Hands-on expertise in Functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Regression testing, Salesforce application testing across multiple modules.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules
• Data behavior and data flow across integrated systems.
• Demonstrated ability to validate end-to-end business processes and ensure data integrity within Salesforce.
• Experience reviewing user stories and translating them into test scenarios and test cases for sprint-based delivery.
• Proficiency in Jira for defect management and qTest for test case management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams including developers, BAs, product owners, and release teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Exposure to test automation tools such as Tosca or Playwright.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates into DevOps workflows.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including participation in sprint ceremonies, planning, and release cycles.
