- Experience in developing data models and data pipelines in Teradata
- Advanced SQL skills, including use of derived tables, unions, multi-table inner/outer joins
- Hands on with Teradata Sql and utilities like Bteq/Fastload/Multiload/TPT etc.
- Worked with front end reporting teams in defining reporting requirements, develop complex summarized views, harmonized tables to be used for reporting
- Good understanding of Teradata architecture (Staging, foundation and reporting)
- Identifying and eliminating spool spaces, skewness issues
- Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis
- Understanding various indexes and using appropriately in the queries
- Experience in end to end implementation of data-warehousing projects
- Experienced in UNIX shell scripts to write wrapper scripts to call ETL Jobs
- Good Communication skills and should be good at multi-tasking
- Worked with stakeholders to help refine requirements and develop to those requirements
- Collaborated with business stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements
