The opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tender / Quotation Specialist to manage the end-to-end tender and quotation process for Gas Circuit Breaker (GCB) components. This role involves preparing accurate and competitive proposals, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive successful project acquisition.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Analyze tender documents, customer specifications, and RFQs (Requests for Quotation) thoroughly to understand project scope, technical requirements, and commercial terms for GCB components.

• Prepare comprehensive and competitive quotations, including technical proposals, commercial offers, and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company pricing policies.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Legal teams to gather necessary technical information, cost data, and contractual terms.

• Coordinate and facilitate internal reviews and approvals for all tender and quotation submissions.

• Maintain an organized and up-to-date tender tracking system, monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely submission of all proposals.

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding tender clarifications, technical queries, and commercial negotiations.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with tender submissions, proposing effective solutions.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the tendering process, tools, and templates.

• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and product developments within the GCB component sector.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tender management, quotation preparation, or a similar role within the power transmission, electrical equipment, or heavy industrial sector.

• Strong understanding of Gas Circuit Breaker (GCB) components and related technical specifications is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to interpret complex technical specifications and commercial terms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical and commercial information clearly.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM or ERP systems.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with international tender processes and contractual frameworks is a plus.
