Job Title: Telecom Design Engineer Oil & Gas Industry

Location: Chennai / Bangalore

Experience Required: Minimum 15 Years

Qualification: BE/ME/MTech in Engineering

Industry: Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecom Design Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of relevant design experience in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical industries. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the design and engineering of telecom and security systems and must be familiar with international standards and EPC workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute basic and detailed engineering of industrial telecom and security systems.
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTO), offer evaluations, and technical bid summaries.
• Review vendor documents for telecom systems: CCTV, PAGA, Radio, ACS, Telephone, IDS, LAN/WAN, SCS, Fiber Optic Systems, etc.
• Prepare telecom block diagrams, philosophies, and system specifications.
• Develop telecom installation layouts, cable routing plans, termination drawings, and building layout detailing.
• Conduct coverage studies and reports for CCTV, PAGA, Radio, WiFi Access Points, traffic load calculations, etc.
• Interface with other engineering disciplines in EPC workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in telecom system design in oil & gas environments.
• Familiarity with standards such as ANSI, IEC, DNVGL, ETSI.
• Experience working with international clients like ADNOC, Saudi Aramco (preferred).
• Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.

• Fire & Gas Systems (F&G)
• HVAC Systems
