Telecom Mediation Lead Developer
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Telecom Mediation with at least 5+ years on Nokia Mediation (NM/MZ/CNF).
- Strong knowledge of telecom protocols (Diameter, Radius, GTP, SIP, HTTP/S, FTP/SFTP,
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of mediation solutions using Nokia Mediation.
- Define solution architecture for data collection, enrichment, transformation, and distribution across OSS/BSS systems.
- Guide a team of engineers in requirement analysis, configuration, customization, and production support.
- Drive integration with 4G/5G network functions (AMF, SMF, PCF, UDM/UDR, OCS/CHF) and external systems.
- Establish best practices for coding, testing, release management, and monitoring in mediation environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity production issues, providing root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
- Partner with clients, architects, and cross-functional teams to align mediation solutions with business needs.
- Lead upgrade, migration, and cloud-native transformation initiatives (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, HLD/LLD, and operational handbooks.
- Mentor and upskill team members on Nokia Mediation, telecom protocols, and emerging technologies.
