Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic AcademicCounsellor to guide and supportstudents in making informedacademic and careerdecisions. The idealcandidate will have a strongeducational background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring students to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling

• Provide guidanceto students and parents regarding available academic programsand career opportunities.
• Assess students' academicperformance, interests, and career aspirations to recommend suitable pathways.
• Address inquiries about course requirements, learning outcomes, and future prospects.

Program Guidance

• Clearly explainthe structure, curriculum details, and benefitsof various academic programs.
• Stay updatedwith industry trends,educational policies, and new program developments.

Follow-Upand Conversion

• Engage with prospective studentsand parents throughregular follow-ups via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
• Assist with the submission of required documents and ensure timelycompletion of enrolment processes.

Target Achievement

• Achieve monthly and quarterly enrolmentand revenue targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance enrolment numbers and meet organizational goals.

Collaboration

• Coordinate with faculty, admissions, and marketing teams to ensuresmooth counselling and enrolment processes.
• Participate in events such as webinars,seminars, and workshopsto promote academic programs.

Record Maintenance

• Maintain accurateand up-to-date recordsof student inquiries, counselling sessions, and enrolments.
• Provide periodic reportson counselling outcomesand conversion ratesto management.

Educational Background

Bachelors degree in any fieldis required.

A background in education, counselling, or a relatedarea is a plus.

Experience

Prior experience in academic counselling, tele sales, or education-related roles is preferred but not mandatory.
