Job Description
Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary: As an IT operation senior analyst, you will serve as the vital resource for administrating client systems. You will leverage your technical skills to manage database availability, backup, scalability, security, user management and housekeeping. You will need to communicate to Application users understanding their requirement and serve per requirement. You need to ensure zero escalation in terms of ticket handling and deliver as per industry standard and strictly adhering client SLA. Responsibilities – • Administrating daily operation on PostgreSQL database servers. • Monitor database performance and optimize queries. • Implement database backup and recovery. • Troubleshooting and resolve database structural issues, blocking issues, performance issues. • Collaborate with application and other operation teams. • Ensuring database security and user access management. • Supporting high availability, replication environment. • Performing upgrade, patching and validation of database during OS maintenance. Technical Experience – • 5+ years of experience in PostgresSQL Database administration with hands on experience in implementation and support • Need an in-depth understanding of database architecture • Understanding of DBA Planning Calendar for DB admin tasks • Experience with backup and recovery strategies. • Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues. • Exposure to Database backup and recovery setup and troubleshooting issues • Familiarity with high-availability and replication • Familiarity with Aurora Postgres preferred. • Familiarity with scripting languages preferred. (e.g. Python) Professional Experience– • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • Ability to communicate business value and manage client relationships • Ability to handle pressure environment within defined KPI/SLA • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Agility and flexibility with shift time as situation demands. Educational Qualification – • 15 Years of Full time education • Knowledge on ITIL standard and best practices15 years full time education
