Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Build Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle Performance Tuning Data Modelling PL/SQL MySQL and MS SQL Server. Experience in R&D Preclinical and Clinical domains is a plus. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional office visits. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of database solutions to support various applications and projects.Oversee performance tuning of Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Provide expertise in data modelling to create efficient and scalable database structures.Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts to automate database tasks and improve efficiency.Manage MySQL and MS SQL Server databases ensuring data integrity and security.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide appropriate solutions.Conduct regular database performance reviews and implement necessary optimizations.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for database management.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Document database configurations processes and procedures for future reference.Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and incorporate them into the workflow.Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices for database management.
Qualifications
Possess strong expertise in Oracle Performance Tuning to ensure databases run efficiently.Demonstrate proficiency in Data Modelling to design effective database structures.Have extensive experience with PL/SQL for automating and optimizing database tasks.Show proficiency in managing MySQL and MS SQL Server databases.Experience in R&D Preclinical and Clinical domains is a plus.Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.Have excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in database technologies.Possess strong documentation skills for maintaining database configurations and procedures.Show a proactive approach to performance tuning and database optimization.Have a strong understanding of data security and integrity best practices.Be adaptable to a hybrid work model and flexible with occasional office visits.
