Summary: As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for creating production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools. Your role will involve deploying the automation pipeline and automating environment creation and configuration. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the platform for the project or product. Roles & Responsibilities: **Responsibilities:** - Monitor, administer, and manage Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) components. - Regularly maintain AAP inventory to ensure all components are accounted for and under control (e.g., dynamic inventory to stay updated with all Azure and AWS subscriptions, as well as vCenter). - Maintain AAP global credentials. - Conduct regular status updates with stakeholders to discuss the health and performance of the AAP environment, including a summary of platform alerts, job success rates, and capacity utilization. - Prepare and submit monthly status reports detailing operational metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement. - Perform scheduled maintenance, including OS and AAP component upgrades and patching, following recommendations from Red Hat to ensure system reliability and security. - Continuously evaluate the AAP environment to recommend and document improvements for enhanced automation capabilities. - Assist with Business Continuity Plan (BCP) testing and execution to ensure disaster recovery readiness. - Implement automation scripts for backend processes where feasible, such as failover procedures and backup restorations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Ansible on Microsoft Azure. - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab. - Understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and ELK stack. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in DevOps. - This position is based at our Indore office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
