Summary: As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for creating production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools such as a platform for a project or product. Your typical day will involve deploying the automation pipeline and automating environment creation and configuration using Java. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Java and associated frameworks. - Create and manage production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools. - Automate environment creation and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. - Deploy the automation pipeline to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of cloud-based solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Java. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Solid understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Java. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful cloud-based solutions. - This position is based at our Chennai office.
