Summary: As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for creating production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools. Your role will involve deploying the automation pipeline and automating environment creation and configuration. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the platform for the project or product. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Manage and maintain the cloud environments for the project or product. - Automate the deployment and configuration of environments using the automation pipeline. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth functioning of the platform. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the cloud environments. - Implement best practices for cloud environment management and configuration. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing. - Assist in the development and implementation of cloud security measures. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Conduct regular performance monitoring and optimization of the cloud environments. - Document and maintain the configuration and setup of the cloud environments. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. - Participate in the planning and execution of platform upgrades and migrations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Database Administration. - Experience with cloud platform administration, such as Azure or AWS. - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures. - Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python. - Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor or ELK Stack. - Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Database Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
