Job Title: Terraform Developer for AWS Job Description: The Terraform Cloud Engineer will be a key player in the client cloud infrastructure platform, using Terraforms capabilities to automate and transform the way we manage and set up cloud resources. They will work together with the operations teams to transition the existing IaC platform from CFT to TF, ensuring the AWS cloud environments are not just scalable and secure but also perform exceptionally well. This candidate will play a vital role in taking the client cloud infrastructure to the next level. Year of Experience & Level : A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience. Key Responsibilities: Utilize Terraform to define, provision, and manage AWS resources, ensuring a consistent and automated approach to infrastructure deployment. Develop and maintain Terraform modules and scripts to streamline infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations staff, to understand requirements and design efficient infrastructure solutions. Implement best practices for infrastructure as code, version control, and automation to enhance the reliability and maintainability of our AWS environment. Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of Terraform configurations. Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and incorporate them into our infrastructure designs. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Requirements: Proficiency and extensive experience in Terraform core component to develop IaC with AWS cloud services. Strong understanding of infrastructure as code principles and best practices. Hands-on experience with Terraform IaC code develop with the AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and Lambda. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation is value added. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
