About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Operations Analyst
In this role, you will:
- Participate in initiatives and identify opportunities for technology operations
- Evaluate basic or tactical challenges that require research and evaluation
- Provide centralized command and control for major incident management, ensuring teams focus first on restoring business services
- Review, analyze and escalate issues from key metric analysis, event monitors, reported service deviations, and documented changes
- Develop knowledge business cycles and capabilities to assess the impact of technology events on the business and other support areas
- Reduce the impact of application and infrastructure failures on business delivery
- Engage various teams of trouble-shooters to assess system health and issues
- Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations
- Provide information to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Technology Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with ITAM platforms and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Asset Lifecycle Management
- Manage the lifecycle of IT hardware assets including laptops, monitors, thin clients, VoIP devices, and peripherals.
- Implement lifecycle strategies aligned with sustainability goals and business continuity plans.
- Support Procurement and IT Operations in hardware acquisition and vendor coordination.
Inventory & Validation
- Validate and inward IT assets from suppliers using platforms like ServiceNow and RCS Traxx.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and dashboards for real-time tracking and audit readiness.
- Conduct periodic audits and resolve discrepancies using automated workflows.
Deployment & Support
- Allocate and assign assets based on approved service requests.
- Manage repair and maintenance tickets through service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for warranty claims and proactive maintenance.
Returns, Transfers & Disposal
- Process returns, internal transfers, and secure disposal of end-of-life assets in compliance with e-waste and data security policies.
- Ensure all asset records and documentation are updated post-disposal.
Reporting, Visualization & Compliance
- Generate reports and visual dashboards on asset utilization, lifecycle status, and SLA adherence.
- Use tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to present insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues and SLA breaches as per governance protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams (FTS, Admin, Projects) to understand hardware needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by managing hardware provisioning and recovery.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in asset management workflows.
- Stay updated on emerging trends such as AI-driven asset tracking and unified ITAM platforms.
Documentation & Training
- Maintain SOPs and knowledge base articles related to asset management.
- Train end-users and team members on hardware handling and support procedures.
