A leading insurance group at Infosys BPM Ltd. has requirements for the role of a Technical Lead. This job description (JD) provides the necessary details to aspiring candidates enable them to prepare better for their upcoming interview discussions.

1. Job Responsibilities:

In the role of Technical Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. 2. Technical Competencies:

• Expertise in SQL, ETL, data manipulation and transformation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) tools such as SSIS, SSRS.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data governance.
• Proficiency with data reporting tools such as SSRS.
• Architect and implement scalable ETL solutions using SSIS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specification.
• Design and develop robust ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, flat files).
• Optimize performance of existing ETL workflows and ensure high data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
• Conduct data validation and reconciliation to maintain consistency across systems.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and ETL tools.
• Good communication skills
• Problem solving and analytical skills.

3. Work experience, domain

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience.
• Knowledge on Insurance domain is preferred.
