Purpose Statement |
To collect input data required for basic engneering, To prepare process design deliverables for new projects, To perform engineering calculations / process simulations and engineering optimizations, To review vendor offers and prepare technical tabulations for equipment purchase, To participate in plant start up & comissioning and collect plant start up data and support in troubleshooting |
Key Roles & Responsibilities |
1. Able to create; - Design Bases, PFDs, P&IDs, Plant layouts for new projects - Generate mass balance & Energy Balance Tabulations - Generate Equipment Process Datasheets, Instrument Process Datasheets - Create Utility Consumption Summary tabulations, electrical load summary, interlock description, Relief loads summary - Participate in risk studies like HAZOP, SIL, consequence analysis in cooridnation with Risk Management Leader - Calculate and arrive at OPEX figures after Basic Engineering, compare with similar processes and study improvements. - Float enquiries for equipment and prepare technical bid tabulations - Help Project group in detail engineering - Help in commissoning the project
2. Ensure all design & safety aspects are captured in basic engineering
3. Interaction with Pilot & Technology Development group for discussion on TTD
4. Maintain design documents as per guidelines and prepare their handover for project excution
5. Support Technolgy Manager for Design Standards & Manual Creation
6. Participate in Pre start up safety review before plant start up
7. Create atmosphere in team to promote value and culture of company. Show leadership in showcasing culture of organisation. |

Experience | 5-8 years of experience of project. Prior project experience from concept to commissioning. |
