Experience: 4+ years with at-least 2-3 years in client facing advisory consulting role and managing a medium sized team 

Preferred Certifications: CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus

• Desired skill set:

1. Experience in network security, network administration, or related field.
2. Design, implement, and maintain network security architecture, ensuring it aligns with business and security objectives.
3. Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other perimeter security devices to safeguard the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
4. In-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, SSL/TLS).
5. Experience configuring and managing network security devices such as firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN solutions.
6. Strong understanding of network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump) and experience interpreting network traffic logs.
7. Hands-on experience with security solutions such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and DLP systems.
8. Proficient with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS) and patch management procedures.
9. Familiarity with network protocols and technologies like HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, DNS, and SNMP.
10. Strong experience with network segmentation, VLANs, and access control policies.
11. Prepare detailed reports on security findings, incidents, and recommendations for management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation of network security configurations and policies.
12. Perform regular audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
13. Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for network security tasks.
14. Familiarity with SD-WAN and modern networking technologies.
