Responsibilities:Experience: 4+ years with at-least 2-3 years in client facing advisory consulting role and managing a medium sized team
Preferred Certifications: CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus
- Desired skill set:
- Experience in network security, network administration, or related field.
- Design, implement, and maintain network security architecture, ensuring it aligns with business and security objectives.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other perimeter security devices to safeguard the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, SSL/TLS).
- Experience configuring and managing network security devices such as firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN solutions.
- Strong understanding of network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump) and experience interpreting network traffic logs.
- Hands-on experience with security solutions such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and DLP systems.
- Proficient with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS) and patch management procedures.
- Familiarity with network protocols and technologies like HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, DNS, and SNMP.
- Strong experience with network segmentation, VLANs, and access control policies.
- Prepare detailed reports on security findings, incidents, and recommendations for management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation of network security configurations and policies.
- Perform regular audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for network security tasks.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN and modern networking technologies.
