Job Description : Technical Architect Competency lead
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for Competency.
- Customize project delivery methods and process and implement proactive strategies as relevant for the competency
- Establish and enforce best practices for Salesforce implementations customization and optimization
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Salesforce specialists, including developers, architects and consultants who are part of the competency
- Provide guidance on project assignments, ensuring the team delivers high-quality solutions that meet client objectives
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture
- Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to understand client requirements and contribute to the pre-sale process to include documentation and pre-sale deliverables
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and recommendations on Salesforce Cloud solutions
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering effective and user-friendly Salesforce solutions
- Encourage and support team members in obtaining relevant Salesforce Cloud certifications and to remain current
- Provide oversight and governance of sold and managed Salesforce projects and manage the delivery of and help coordinate all elements of a Salesforce Core and/or Industry Cloud implementation
- Serve as day-to-day technical platform SME to internal and client teams
- Analyze the company: Understand the company's functionalities and applications, and how they align with each other
- Lead functional and technical workshops. Demonstrate leadership skills in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying.
- Architecture: Serve as a trusted advisor to the client driving conversations with their Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders that shape the architectural vision, and establish a program architectural roadmap.
- Solution Design: Expertise in User Journey preparations, User Story reviews, Data Modeling, Apex Design Patterns, LWC, and other modern UI techniques.
- Technical documentation: Write solution design documents and review technical design documents
- Stakeholder Management: Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party stakeholders
- Guide our customers, partners, and implementation teams on how best to execute digital transformation with the Salesforce platform using Salesforce Industries.
- Support project management: Support Program and Project manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and manage and prioritize the workload of team
- Stay current: Keep up with the latest Salesforce advancements and industry trends, and provide thought leadership
Skills Required
- Overall 15+years with at least 10 years of Salesforce/Force.com platform experience
- Strong practical deployment knowledge of Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, Apex Web services, and APIs
- Knowledge of Integrations, 3rd party integration tools, ETL with Salesforce
- Ability to effectively support multiple projects
- Experienced in business, operations and change management, with the ability to perform at a lead level and influence strategic decision-makers and functional stakeholders
- Experienced in business architecture, specifically in designing and implementing an integrated platform from a functional or technical perspective (beneficial)
- Good Analytical & problem solving skill.
- Creative, organized, and process-focused with strong technical competence with strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to various audiences.
