Job Description: Cloud Data Architect We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect with extensive experience in managing the complete data landscape, including data ingestion, transformation, processing, and consumption. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management and technical governance, along with deep expertise in data architecture. In addition, the candidate should possess hands-on experience with various ETL tools, particularly Informatica, Hadoop, Cloudera, and the Azure data factory and toolset. Responsibilities: 1. Data Architecture: - Design and develop scalable and efficient data architectures to support data ingestion, transformation, processing, and consumption. - Define and implement data modeling and schema design best practices for structured and unstructured data. - Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to optimize data processing and storage. 2. Data Ingestion and Transformation: - Develop strategies and processes for efficient and reliable data ingestion from various sources into the cloud environment. - Design and implement data transformation pipelines to cleanse, enrich, and aggregate data. - Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ingestion and transformation process. 3. Data Processing and Analysis: - Architect scalable and high-performance data processing frameworks for big data analytics. - Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to define data processing requirements and optimize performance. - Implement distributed computing techniques and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) to enable parallel processing of large datasets. 4. Data Governance and Program Management: - Establish data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data privacy, security, and compliance. - Define and enforce data governance standards, data quality processes, and data lifecycle management practices. - Manage data-related projects and programs, including resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder communication. 5. ETL, CLoud data platform toolset: - Utilize a wide range of ETL tools, such as Informatica, Hadoop, Cloudera, Apache Ni-Fi for data integration and transformation. - Leverage Azure data factory and related toolset to orchestrate data pipelines and workflows. - Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud data technologies and recommend suitable solutions. Requirements: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Cloud Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role. - Strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and database design principles. - Hands-on experience with ETL tools, including Informatica, Hadoop, Cloudera. - Proficiency in Azure data services, including Azure data factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, etc. - Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures, specifically in the context of data management and analytics. - Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing technologies. - Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and data lifecycle management practices. - Excellent program management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g., Azure certifications, Informatica certifications). - Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and their data services. - Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
