Project Role Description : Design and deliver technology architecture for a platform, product, or engagement. Define solutions to meet performance, capability, and scalability needs.

Good to have skills : Service Management Framework Design and Implementation

Summary: As a Technology Architect, you will review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements. You will also review and integrate the technical architecture requirements and provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security. Your typical day will involve analyzing and understanding application requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and making informed decisions to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand application requirements. - Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements. - Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements. - Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security. - Design and implement service management frameworks. - Ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Netapp Network Attached Storage (NAS) Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Service Management Framework Design and Implementation. - Strong understanding of storage administration and management. - Experience in designing and implementing network attached storage solutions. - Knowledge of storage protocols and technologies such as NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel. - Familiarity with storage virtualization and data protection techniques. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving storage-related issues. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively. Key Responsibilities: Design & Implementation: o Architect and implement EMC storage solutions to meet business requirements. o Develop and manage Commvault backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance. o Design and deploy BAAS offerings that align with organizational goals. o Leverage Azure storage capabilities to create scalable and cost-effective storage solutions. Performance Optimization: o Monitor and optimize storage performance, ensuring efficient data access and retrieval. o Analyze system performance metrics and implement tuning and optimization strategies. Collaboration: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions with existing infrastructure. o Work closely with cloud architects to design hybrid cloud storage solutions using Azure. Documentation & Training: o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of storage architectures, configurations, and procedures. o Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on best practices in storage management and backup solutions. Support & Troubleshooting: o Act as a point of escalation for complex storage issues and provide advanced troubleshooting support. Participate in on-call support rotations as needed. Professional Attributes: Good communication skill, Leadership skills, team handling skills, team building, analytical skills and good presentation skills and ability to work independently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Netapp Network Attached Storage (NAS) Administration. - This position is based in Coimbatore. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
