Job Description

The Techno Functional Analyst, Oracle ERP Cloud Financials is an experienced Solution Architect in Oracle Financials with multiple cloud implementations. This position's primary responsibility will be to interface with key stakeholders of a cloud transformation program, own end to end responsibility and accountability in driving activities such as gathering requirements, conducting conference room pilots, configuring the system, coordinating system integration testing, leading user acceptance testing, and providing user training.

This role is responsible for implementing, performing analysis, modification, and daily functional support of the Oracle Cloud ERP Cloud (AP, AR, CM, FA & GL)

The role requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to support period close activities, non-production refreshes, patches, and upgrades when needed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with an Oracle team in a Sarbanes Oxley compliant company that operates internationally.

The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and operate in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. They will need to be hands on, self-motivated and take initiative to solve problems, automate manual effort and continuously improve.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Fully comprehend business requirements and translate them into implementable solutions using leading Oracle Cloud practices and processes, avoiding customizations wherever possible.
  • Design and deliver all aspects of new Oracle Cloud Financials implementations and required changes to existing applications.
  • Develop system requirements, design, prototype, implement, and rollout solutions.
  • Write and maintain clear, concise functional and technical specifications for Cloud Financials applications and business system processes.
  • Configure Financials applications as needed to support solution designs.
  • Proactively and frequently communicate with customers to build and maintain a solid working relationship.
  • Integrate Oracle Cloud Financials applications with current and future business processes.
  • Design and implement custom reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud Service and other BI tools to address company needs and improve frequency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting.
  • Optimize manual and automated processes within Financials applications.
  • Work on other EPM Cloud, ERP Cloud & SCM Cloud improvement projects in collaboration with the EPM, ERP & SCM functional and technical teams as needed.
  • Produce and deliver documentation for design, training, and application administration.
  • Demonstrate expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions to support highly complex business requirements.
  • Lead and conduct CRP, SIT and UAT.
  • Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate working sessions with business and technical teams.
  • Support business transformation through continuous system improvement.
  • Oversee Oracle Service Request management and escalate priority issues.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Oracle ERP Financials related experience architecting and delivering all aspects of ERP solutions using EBS and Fusion applications
  • 1 years of Oracle Cloud Financials experience
  • Involvement with a minimum of two full life cycle Oracle Financials implementations, of which at least one should be Oracle Cloud Financials
  • Ability to configure all ERP Cloud Financials applications including Cash Management, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, and RMCS
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in all functional aspects of Cloud Financials application solution design, configuration, integration, and deployment
  • Deep understanding of all Finance business processes including accounting and corporate reporting standards
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills with experience in troubleshooting issues for ERP Cloud Financials
  • Experience with Multi-currency and multiple Legal entities.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think in a complex and rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
