Technical Test Manager

Job Description Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Functional Test Manager with strong expertise in the Insurance/Annuities domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with annuity products, deep knowledge of testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. LOMA/FLMI Level 1 certification is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end functional testing with a strong focus on Insurance and Annuities systems.
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans , test cases, and test scripts.
• Conduct bug tracking, regression testing , and ensure timely closure of issues.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, providing insights and recommendations to improve product quality.
• Work across various SDLC models (Waterfall, Agile) and ensure adherence to QA processes and standards.
• Utilize test automation tools and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Apply strong analytical skills to define, implement, and monitor QA metrics .
• Communicate effectively with business and technical teams through clear documentation and verbal updates.
• Develop and drive for complex applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and reporting of all QA activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the QA team, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Business Analysts, and Project Managers, to align testing with business goals.
• Analyze test results and defect trends to identify root causes and recommend actionable improvements.
• Oversee test documentation including test cases, test scripts, defect logs, and test summary reports.
• Collaborate with automation teams to identify areas suitable for automation and provide support for script validation and execution.
• Stay updated on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry trends and continuously improve testing processes

Qualifications:

• Mandatory experience in the Insurance/Annuities domain with strong product understanding.
• Good hands-on experience in automation testing with Java selenium.
• LOMA/FLMI Level 1 certification is a plus.
• Solid experience in functional testing , system testing, and E2E testing.
• Working knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools .
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (waterfall, agile) and software quality assurance processes and automated tools.
• Writing and running of comprehensive test plans
• Strong consulting skills and ability to interact with the client and make recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of system testing, end to end testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, consulting, and client-interaction skills.
• Basic database knowledge is an added advantage.

Shift Timing: 1 to 10 PM

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad

Timings: 1 PM to 10 PM
