Job Title: Databricks Developer with Power BI Skills

Location: Any BSL location

Shift: Flexible to work in US shifts

Experience: 10 to 14 years

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Databricks Developer with expertise in Power BI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering projects, advanced SQL, and data visualization. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Engineering:
• Design, implement, and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Implement scalable data processing solutions within Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Utilize advanced SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Apply knowledge of Databricks for data engineering tasks.
2. Data Warehousing and Azure Synapse Analytics:
• Design, implement, and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Implement scalable data processing solutions within Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and query optimization is preferred.
3. Data Visualization:
• Create and manage reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Provide actionable insights through data visualization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes and solutions.
4. User/Client Interaction:
• Work closely with clients to understand their data needs and requirements.
• Provide support and training to users on data tools and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and advanced SQL.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering projects.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Databricks, Power BI, or Azure are a plus.
