About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Scala and Google BigQuery to join our growing data team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that power business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines using Scala and BigQuery.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and store large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize BigQuery queries and manage cost-effective data processing.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
• Strong proficiency in Scala, including functional programming concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and GCP ecosystem.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git).
