Technical Specialist 2

- 6-8 years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA
 Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas:
- Thorough and clear understanding of Oracle Database Architecture - including the latest version of Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c)
- Experience on Oracle Applications 12.2 including patching, cloning, middleware components, concurrent managers, workflow,etc
- Hands on experience on Oracle Application patches and DB patches ADOP R12.2 Oracle Multitenant DB architecture.
- Knowledge of SOAP and REST webservices is preferred.
- Some experience on RAC, ASM, Exadata, Performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker
- Some Experience in handling performance issues on the Application and Database layer in a complex transactional environment.
- Experience in handling complex database backup and recovery scenarios using RMAN
- Experience in database migrations and upgrades
- Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues
- Experience in database monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager including target management, installation, HA configuration and administration of OEM, incident and alert management, monitoring templates, Integration with ticketing tool.
- Knowledge of Grafana is preferred.
- Experience in automation using Shell scripts, Perl, Python, Ansible etc
- Good to have knowledge in OS administration (Linux, Solaris)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in EUR shift and on weekends as required.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues
- Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills.
