Position : Technical Sales Engineer
Role Description:
- Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) should bridge the gap between technical products and customer needs, acting as a technical expert for the sales team by explaining product features, demonstrating solutions, and providing pre/post-sale support to drive sales, requiring strong tech knowledge, sales skills, and client relationship management. Key duties include client consultation, technical presentations, customizing solutions, training, and managing direct ( EU ) / indirect business ( via Channel Partners ).
Core Function:
- To translate technical features into customer benefits, ensuring the right product is sold to meet specific client needs, bridging the gap between a company's technical offerings and its customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction : Engage with customers in person or over online meetings and understand customer requirements. It important to understand their challenges and provide technical solution using problem-solving approach.
- Product Knowledge : Should understand NComputing product portfolio and specifications and how to position effectively as solution bundle.
- Presentations and Demonstrations : Prepare and deliver solution presentations and perform live POC / demonstrations of the products on field / online meetings.
- Business Partner Engagement : Identifying, onboarding, and developing relationship with valued channel partners in your market through field visits and online meetings and follow clear sales methodology process defined by company.
- Sales Management: Developing goal-oriented sales funnel / pipelines for multiple end-customer segments.
- Brand Awareness : Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensure its brand presence .
- Training Skills : Training Channel Partners on Solution Selling and creating complete knowledge transfer of the NComputing Product portfolio both Software and Hardware .
- Product Support : Offer technical backup, training, and ensure customer satisfaction after the sale.
- Proposals and Quotations : Collaborate with cross-function team, handle proposals, and negotiate terms for order closure.
- Reporting : Communication to the Zonal Head and cc to NComputing India CEO.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the company's technical products/services.
- Sales Acumen: Negotiation, persuasion, and business acumen.
- Communication: Excellent presentation, listening, and email drafting skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to understand problem statements and design effective solutions.
- Education: Engineering degree in Comp Science / IT, supplemented with MBA business/sales.
- Experience : Min. 3 - 5 Years of experience in IT Hardware & Software business: Hardware System Integration on Dell / HPE / Lenovo Servers, Knowledge of virtualisation platforms like VMWare ESXi or Hyper-V, hands-on knowledge for Windows Server OS deployment and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
- Language Proficiency : Fluency in English and Hindi (regional languages are a plus).
