Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Technical Sales Engineer (Mechanical) who will drive business growth across India.
The primary responsibility of this role will be handling and engaging with OEMs, machine builders, and end-users across various industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of mechanical transmission products and the ability to travel for customer visits and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel PAN India to meet OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, and end-users.
- Promote and sell Linear Guideways, Ball Screws and Planetary Gearboxes & Racks.
- Identify new business opportunities in machine tools, automation, robotics, packaging, semiconductor, and manufacturing industries.
- Understand customer applications and provide technically suitable solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and follow up for order closures.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
- Coordinate with internal technical and application teams for solution support.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure repeat business.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and new project opportunities.
- Maintain visit reports, sales pipeline data, and CRM updates regularly.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4-6 years of experience in technical sales of mechanical / automation / transmission products.
- Good understanding of linear motion systems, ball screws, gearboxes, racks, couplings, or related mechanical components.
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings and customer applications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel across India.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and professional in customer handling.
