Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer Industrial Coatings (Zinga)

Location: Khar West, Mumbai (Pan-India ownership)

Role Summary
  • Drive technical sales of Zinga coatings across India.
  • Build and activate a stockist and applicator base to ensure availability and execution capability.
  • Secure technical acceptance and specification with EPCs, fabricators, consultants and asset owners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and convert project enquiries for Zinga across fabrication, infrastructure, power, oil & gas and industrial maintenance.
  • Conduct site visits, technical presentations, demos and trial applications.
  • Support technical approvals, pre-bid discussions and specification inclusion.
  • Identify, evaluate and onboard regional stockists; support joint visits and demand generation.
  • Create and manage a trained applicator base (painting / corrosion contractors).
  • Conduct applicator training on surface preparation, application methods, thickness control and basic inspection.
  • Supervise trials and reference jobs; resolve application-related issues on site.
  • Prepare and support technical submittals, method statements and clarifications.
  • Maintain opportunity pipeline, stockist/applicator records and activity reports.
Territory & Travel
  • Base: Khar West, Mumbai.
  • Extensive pan-India travel to sites, contractors and stockists.
Candidate Profile
  • Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Chemical / Production or related.
  • 26 years in industrial coatings, corrosion protection, industrial chemicals or site-based technical sales.
  • Experience working with contractors / dealers / channel partners preferred.
Skills
  • Strong technical selling and site interaction.
  • Ability to explain coating systems and application practices clearly.
  • Relationship building, structured follow-up and independent working style.
KPIs
  • Zinga sales conversion and repeat usage.
  • Active regional stockists onboarded and performing.
  • Trained and active applicators.
  • Trial-to-order conversion.
  • Specification / consultant acceptance.
