Technical Project Manager (Generic Solution Architect Background)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong Solution Architecture experience who can lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements, technical design, and project execution to ensure successful, high-quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Lead end-to-end project delivery (initiation to closure)
• Define scope, timelines, milestones, and resource plans
• Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests
• Track project progress and report status to stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

2. Solution Architecture

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Design high-level architecture (HLD) and review low-level design (LLD)
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
• Evaluate technology choices and provide recommendations
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability

3. Stakeholder Management

• Act as primary interface between business, technical teams, and leadership
• Conduct requirement workshops and technical discussions
• Present architecture, solution approach, and delivery roadmap

4. Technical Leadership

• Guide development teams on best practices and design decisions
• Conduct technical reviews and quality checkpoints
• Ensure DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment best practices are followed

5. Governance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to project governance and documentation standards
• Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Technical Project Management
• Hands-on experience in Solution Architecture and system design
• Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Understanding of APIs, Microservices, Databases, and Integration patterns
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Risk management and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in engineering / computer science
• 5 - 8 years of relevant IT experience
• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification (Optional)
• Cloud Architect certifications (preferred)
