Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong Data Engineering background and hands-on coding experience to lead and deliver complex data-driven projects from end to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver data engineering projects from planning to deployment
• Coordinate with data engineers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders
• Actively contribute to technical discussions and code reviews
• Oversee data pipelines, ETL workflows, and integrations
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource plans
• Track risks, dependencies, and resolve technical issues
• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability
• Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders

Technical Skills Required

• Strong background in Data Engineering
• Hands-on coding experience in Python and SQL (mandatory)
• Experience with ETL frameworks and data pipelines
• Knowledge of Databases & Data Warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Familiarity with Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop preferred)
• Understanding of API integrations and data ingestion methods

Project Management Skills

• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience with prior hands-on data engineering or development role
• Experience in product-based or data-driven organizations
• PMP / Scrum certification (good to have)
