Job Title: Associate Technical Project Manager / Technical Project Manager

Experience: 8+ years

Education: Strong educational background in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing projects and teams to meet expectations w.r.t efficiency and quality.
• Experience with Kanban, agile methodologies, and scaled agile frameworks.
• Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web/mobile/cloud technologies.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, Generative AI tools, and AI-assisted project delivery frameworks.
• Understanding of how AI can be leveraged in project planning, risk prediction, productivity tracking, and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus.

Requirements:

• Experience managing multiple fixed-bid and agile projects.
• Ability to manage, collaborate, and question the Technical team like Architects, Tech Leads, and Developers.
• Strong people management and risk mitigation skills.
• Knowledge of quality KPIs and experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and planning.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile coach with a solid understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks.
• Experience in managing projects that involve AI/ML components or leveraging AI tools for predictive analytics, test automation, and delivery optimization.
• Familiarity with AI-powered Agile metrics dashboards, estimation tools, and productivity enhancers.
• Excellent facilitation and leadership skills to motivate teams.
• Familiarity with Agile metrics and tools (e.g., Jira) for tracking progress; awareness of AI-driven extensions for Jira/Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to guide teams on Agile practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to develop and present business cases via PowerPoint, including AI-based ROI projections and value delivery tracking.
• Willingness to manage teams across different time zones and attend late-night calls as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Agile development processes as Scrum Master for multiple teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and organize work optimally.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, fostering self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to the Scrum framework, facilitating key events (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Remove obstacles to progress and escalate issues as necessary.
• Help teams define sprint goals and break down work into actionable tasks.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain the product backlog and prioritize user stories.
• Promote effective communication and transparency across teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor team performance using Agile metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes continuous learning and value delivery.
• 1Stay updated on Agile methodologies, industry best practices, and AI-driven project management trends/tools to enhance team efficiency.
• Encourage adoption of AI-assisted practices (e.g., intelligent task allocation, automated reporting, predictive risk analysis, effort estimation).
• Identify opportunities where AI can accelerate delivery, improve quality, or enhance decision-making in projects.

 Tools & Technologies:

• Proficiency in Agile process management and reporting tools (Jira, Microsoft Project Plan, Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted project management tools, AI-powered reporting dashboards, and productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, or equivalent).
