Technical Product Manager - Textile Machinery

ALIDHRA WEAVETECH is one of the largest TWISTING & WINDING Textile machinery manufacturers in India.

The company is looking to hire a Technical Product Manager who will act as the technical owner of assigned machine models. The role is engineering-heavy and requires close coordination with Design, Manufacturing, Vendors, Service, and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities & Activities:

• Technical Ownership & ProductRoadmap:Execute the vision for new machinery and upgrades to existing models based on market feedback and technological advancements.
• Cross-Functional Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact between Mechanical/Textile Engineers, the factory floor, and Sales teams to ensureproductalignment.
• Design-to-Production Sync:Work with CAD designers to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing (DFM) and coordinate with the factory team onBOMs & production scheduling via theERP system.
• Field Intelligence:Coordinate with Service Technicians to identify recurring technical issues, translating them into engineering improvements.
• Sales Enablement:Provide the Sales team with technical specifications, value propositions, and competitive analysis to help close deals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Engineering Background:A degree (BE / BTECH/ ME / MTECH) in Mechanical, Textile, or Production Engineering with Engineering Management exposure is highly preferred.
• Systems Proficiency:Exposure to navigatingERP & CRM systemsfor production & customer insights. (In-House training will be provided)
• Design Literacy:Ability to interpretCAD drawingsand technical schematics to discuss modifications with the design team.
• Manufacturing Knowledge:Strong understanding of industrial assembly processes, metallurgy, CNC machines. Exposure to management systems like Lean, 5S, Kaizen etc. is an advantage.
• Analytical Thinking:Practical exposure to problem solving in Mechanical / Electrical / Control-Systems areas.

Preferred Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing (Textile machinery experience is a major plus).
• Previous experience in a role that bridged the gap between Design andProduction.
