Technical Product Manager

Ekko is building an AI-powered ambient clinical documentation platform that listens to doctorpatient conversations and automatically generates structured clinical notes, prescriptions, and medical documentation.

In India, healthcare documentation faces two extremes: incomplete handwritten records or cumbersome digital systems that slow clinicians down. Ekko bridges this gap by making clinical documentation effortless and reliable.

We are building an AI-first platform that combines speech recognition, LLMs, and workflow automation to modernize clinical documentation for hospitals and clinics.

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) who will own the development and evolution of Ekkos core product platform.

This role requires someone who can operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and AI systems, translating complex clinical workflows into scalable product features.

A critical responsibility of this role will be designing and implementing an AI-enhanced Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) that supports rapid innovation while maintaining product quality and engineering discipline.

You will work closely with engineering, design, and clinical stakeholders to build a product that delivers real impact in healthcare.

• Define and execute the product roadmap for Ekkos AI-powered clinical documentation platform.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical workflows using AI and automation.
• Align product development priorities with company strategy and market needs.

• Lead the development of AI-powered features including:
• Ambient transcription
• Clinical note generation
• Medical documentation workflows
• EMR integrations
• Work closely with engineering teams to translate product vision into technical specifications and system requirements.
• Drive iterative development and improvement of AI-driven product capabilities.

• Design and implement an AI-enhanced Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Establish clear processes for:
• AI feature development
• Model evaluation and benchmarking
• Prompt engineering and LLM iteration cycles
• Experimentation and A/B testing
• Continuous improvement based on real-world usage
• Ensure development teams follow consistent process discipline, documentation, and release practices.
• Create frameworks that support rapid experimentation while maintaining product reliability.

• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept through launch and iteration.
• Write clear product requirements, technical documentation, and user stories.
• Work with engineering teams in agile development cycles to deliver features efficiently.

• 36+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and cloud-based systems
• Experience working on AI/ML or LLM-powered products
• Experience with AI domains such as:NLP,speech recognition,conversational AI
• Experience designing or implementing AI-enhanced PDLC/SDLC processes
• Proven ability to develop and enforce structured product development processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in healthcare technology or digital health products
• Familiarity with clinical workflows or EMR systems
• Experience working with voice or conversational AI products
• Experience building AI-first SaaS platforms
