Job Description

The Technology Acquisition Process Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end process for acquiring new technology products and tools for the enterprise. This role ensures efficient and compliant acquisition, working closely with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Vendor Risk Management, and the Technical Council. The ideal candidate is highly process-oriented, possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is capable of leading cross-functional discussions to facilitate timely and effective technology acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Management:

o Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the technology acquisition process, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices.

o Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process efficiency and effectiveness.

o Identify and implement process improvements to streamline acquisition workflows.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for internal users requesting new technology products and tools.

o Host and facilitate meetings with users to gather requirements, understand business needs, and provide guidance on the acquisition process.

o Collaborate with Legal, Vendor Risk Management, Information Security, and the Technical Council to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational standards.

o Proactively communicate process updates, requirements, and timelines to all stakeholders.

• Acquisition Execution:

o Manage the submission, review, and approval process for technology acquisition requests.

o Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.

o Track the status of acquisition requests and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

o Facilitate communication between users, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth implementation.

• Compliance and Governance:

o Ensure all technology acquisitions comply with relevant regulations, policies, and security standards.

o Maintain accurate records of all technology acquisitions, including contracts, licenses, and approvals.

o Participate in audits and provide documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management).

• Minimum 6 yrs years of experience in process management, technology acquisition, procurement, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes and drive continuous improvement.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

• Knowledge of technology procurement best practices and industry standards.

• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to technology acquisition (e.g., data privacy, security).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile).

• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and related technology solutions.
