Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fusion Technical Oracle Manager for the Record to Report team at the London Stock Exchange Group. Providing solution expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP (SaaS).
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are embarking on a finance transformation programme, delivering our finance vision, and redefining the way we work to build value and deliver balanced growth for the business. The programme shall drive efficiencies and maximise benefits for LSEG by moving to a single cloud-based enterprise resource planning and performance management supplier for billing and accounting (ERP).
Your confirmed ability will guide the strategic management and implementation of our Oracle systems. Your role encompasses developing technical solutions and being part of a team to align these with integrations with our business objectives, ensuring efficiency and operational excellence. With an overall objective to integrate Oracle Fusion Cloud modules from existing ERP systems and processes.
The role holder will collaborate across the multiple workstreams to focus on the end-to-end implementation phases of Oracle ERP solution working in an agile environment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Extensive experience in implementing, testing and Supporting Oracle Financial Modules including GL, Intercompany, Projects, Fixed Assets, and FAH.
- Excellent knowledge of standard processes and an understanding of industry trends and difficulties in Implementing Oracle Fusion Application and supporting the transformation.
- Outstanding attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills!
- Provides consistent and innovative solution leadership to a project team.
- Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s), ensuring highly performant, coordinated software solutions within time and budget constraints.
- Leads and analyses business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry standard processes, product knowledge, and discernment.
- Exercises judgment and eye for business in selecting methods and techniques to deliver technical solutions on non-routine and very sophisticated aspects of applications and technology installations.
- Resolves sophisticated customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.
- Experience in Solution Design; Preparing specification documentation; Designing process workflow; Identifying and resolving Gaps; Providing technical inputs for specifications, business process, and Post implementation Support.
- Proficient in the concepts of Multi-Org, Global Consolidation System, Multiple Reporting Currencies and Flex field setups.
- Solid grasp in GL balances conversion using translation and revaluation process for final balances in reporting currency.
- Expertise in reconciliation of Sub-ledger modules with module.
- System administration skills include defining request groups, responsibilities, users, assigning responsibilities to user setup of profile options and maintaining concurrent programs.
- Experienced in Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Accounting Setup Manager, Multi Org Access Control (MOAC).
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills!
- Proficiency in building and giving presentations to business partners.
- Strong team orientation, including ability to function proactively by anticipating priorities and requirements of team collaborators.
- Ability to work in a sophisticated fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations; must be very flexible and have a shown aptitude to handle bold priorities and ensure critical follow-up of initiatives.
YOU'LL BRING:
- consistent record relevant to this position including 7 years of technical consulting experience and 5 Years of Functional consulting experience.
- Business process experience in the following areas: Cloud/e-Business Suite (EBS): 5-15 years/confirmed across R2R.
- Ability to build customized Oracle Reports in OTBI & BI Publisher reports and templates.
- Rich functional, technical and industry knowledge to diagnose sophisticated issues and develop appropriate recommendations.
- Solid grasp of SOAP/REST APIs, Java, XML, PL/SQL, Web Services, and a good DBA support and OS Support relevant to the Oracle Cloud environment.
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and fusion applications, with a deep understanding of data and application integrations, API lifecycle management, configuring adapters, and data mapping.
- Minimum 4 implementations of Oracle R2R and 6 years of support experience in modules like GL, FA, FAH, Project Accounting and Intercompany. Minimum 4 modules from the above are required. In addition, configuration experience is these modules is required.
Preferred
• Background in working across several different sectors both business and IT related projects/programs.
• Knowledge of technology estates and technologies desirable
