Technical Manager – Waterproofing / Repairs & Restoration

Stellence is a leading distributor of high-performance construction chemicals (Fosroc. SIKA, Dr. Fixit, Nippon etc.) and we are looking for a Technical Manager to lead our waterproofing and Repairs and Restoration Division.

In this role, you will be the bridge between our world-class chemical manufacturers and our clients, ensuring that every project is backed by sound technical advice and superior product application.

KRA

1. Technical Advisory: Provide expert guidance to clients on waterproofing product selection (Liquid membranes, TPO/PVC, Crystalline, etc.) for complex infrastructure, data centers, and residential projects.
2. BOQ and Quotation Generation Create BOQ based on specifications finalized with clients and also generate quotation based on consumptions and related costs.
3. Site Support: Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot application issues, and perform quality audits to ensure specifications are met.
4. Training & Development: Lead technical workshops for our sales team, contractors, and applicators to stay ahead of industry trends.
5. Product Management: Evaluate new products from suppliers and manage the technical documentation, TDS, and MSDS libraries.
6. Specification Liaison: Work closely with consultants and architects to get our distributed products specified in major project tenders.

What Were Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 510 years in the construction chemicals industry, with a heavy focus on Waterproofing, repairs and restoration.
• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of ASTM/BS standards and various waterproofing technologies (bituminous, cementitious, PU, and polyurea).
• Communication: Ability to translate complex chemical properties into practical solutions for site engineers and contractors.
• Mindset: A problem-solver who is comfortable alternating between a boardroom and a construction site.
