Technical Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Architect to lead the design and development of scalable automation solutions. In this role, you will architect systems, write high-quality code, and guide development teams through the full project lifecycle.

You will work closely with Creative, Business, and Technology teams, making high-level architectural decisions related to system design, data storage, integrations, and AI-driven automation. This role also involves mentoring developers and ensuring engineering excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

• Design scalable architectures and automation solutions.
• Develop and review high-quality code while ensuring best engineering practices.
• Define coding standards and enforce code quality across the project codebase.
• Establish project scaffolding, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Debug complex technical issues and provide root cause analysis.

Project Delivery

• Translate business and user requirements into technical solutions.
• Estimate development tasks, timelines, and complexity.
• Manage software releases including code updates, client demos, and QA handoffs.
• Define component interfaces and system integrations.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Provide technical coaching and guidance to team members.
• Collaborate with project managers, delivery teams, and client stakeholders.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and team development initiatives.

Process & Collaboration

• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practices.
• Document architecture, processes, and project learnings.
• Share knowledge through training, workshops, and internal initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with offshore and onshore teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 610 years of experience in software development or architecture.
• 3+ years of experience leading development teams.
• Strong expertise in React and modern front-end development frameworks.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, .NET, Java, or Python.
• Proficiency with Relational (SQL) and Non-Relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Advanced experience with GitHub for version control and code management.
• Experience integrating AI components and automation workflows.
• Proven track record as a technical team leader.
